Does it need Blocksy Companion?

No for the theme itself: palette, typography, layout, per-page options, and the header and footer builder. Companion adds extensions and Companion Pro adds Content Blocks; both are supported when present.

Will a per-page change affect the whole site?

No. Per-page options live on that single entry and never touch the global Customizer settings.

Which version is supported?

Blocksy 2.1.47 and newer.
