Ghost Mode: Novamira on client sites, visible only to you

September 28, 2026

If you manage WordPress sites for clients, you may already run Novamira on some of them. You and your AI use it every day. Your client’s administrators don’t, but until now they still saw it: a menu, an entry in the admin bar, a few notices, two rows in the Plugins screen.

Ghost Mode, now in Novamira Pro, lets you run Novamira on client sites without it showing up for the client’s administrators. You choose which administrators keep seeing Novamira. For everyone else, the Novamira menu, its admin bar entry, its notices and its rows in the Plugins and Updates screens are gone, and your agency keeps working with Novamira and its AI exactly as before.

Turning it on takes a minute. Open Novamira, then Ghost Mode, choose who keeps seeing Novamira and confirm. You are always on the list, so you cannot lock yourself out, and you can turn Ghost Mode off from the same page whenever you want. If you work on many sites, or let an AI agent do it, the same can be done with WP-CLI.

Two things change for the people on the list. Other administrators no longer see Novamira updates, so keeping Novamira and Novamira Pro up to date is up to you, and a notice tells you when an update is waiting. The Ghost Mode page also lists the other administrators who already have an AI connected, so you can see who is using Novamira on the site.

Ghost Mode is not a security feature: it changes what other administrators see, not what they can do. If they look for Novamira they can still find it, and connect an AI to it or keep the connection they already have.

Ghost Mode is available from Novamira 1.12.6 and Novamira Pro 1.11.0, and turning it on requires an active Novamira Pro license. You can download Novamira, get Novamira Pro, and read the full guide in the documentation.
